Sorry for the double post, I do not know how to make several appointments at the same time. I think it is a mistake on the part of the download servers, like when the additional content of many players disappeared, a couple of years ago. The pattern I've noticed, is that it seems to only occur with the older platform games, DAO, DA2, NOX and your case, it does not happen for example with MEA and DAI. I haven't had this problem with Origin before this last update. There are no glitches or problems with repair or playing games online, just the downloading and install. I repaired the game before starting and it works fine. This i will confirm in a bit once Origin is done verifying teh files and trying to install them. The game didnt start yet so it never logged you in. Took about 2 hours and many tries, but eventually it completed. I think Error: 327684:1 is simply a logging in error. So I just kept logging out of Origin then back in to try again regardless of the errors or notices I got.
I had trouble downloading and installing the base game and EP01, so I sent an error report and contacted EA Help but they couldn't help me. I got the same error trying to download and install Sims Medieval with EP01. The er ror: 327684:1 does generally point to an issue with the install of VC++ but in case there is something else going on lets try disabling both your anti-virus and firewall and then launching Origin as an administrator to see if it makes a difference.
